Dallas City Performance Hall

The Dallas City Performance Hall was designed by Corgan Associates Architects. The interior is a blend of exposed concrete and white oak ceilings. The Architect wanted a three-dimensional white oak linear ceiling system in the main lobby. This was accomplished by Architectural Components Group (ACGI) panelizing white oak boards in a random configuration of different widths and thicknesses. Access to the plenum was required and two unnoticable access panels were incorporated into the design. A black acoustical blanket was used to obtain good acoustics along with great aesthetics.
