Projects - Wall - Acoustical

Acoustical wall treatments can be used to either absorb or reflect sound as well as enhance the aesthetics. When sound absorption is desired, fiberglass is the best medium for performance, and is usually covered with fabric, perforated metal or wood, or some other surface treatment. When sound reflection is desired, there are a variety of "hard" surfaces that can be used to bounce sound such as metal, glass, GRG, (Glassfiber Reinforced Gypsum), wood, or other surfaces.
