Nysan, a division of Hunter Douglas Contract, has been manufacturing window shading systems since 1982.  Headquartered in Calgary, Canada; Nysan has opened a Dallas, Texas manufacturing facility for production of the systems that use their Greenscreen fabrics for PVC-free and LEED friendly installations.  Nysan roller shades use fabrics of various densities and colors to filter out unwanted glare, but maintain the view to the exterior.  They also have full black-out fabrics for audio-visual or other needs.  

Roller shades can be operated in a variety ways; manually, motorized, computer, touch-screens, fully automated and can be integrated into daylight harvesting systems.  Nysan’s standard ten-year warranty not only covers the product, but also the installation to give the owner full protection and confidence that the Nysan system is specifically made and installed for their project.

Nysan also manufactures aluminum louvers and exterior horizontal blinds for sun control.   Exterior louvers can be mounted horizontally, vertically or at an angle and filter solar load before it enters the building.  Louver systems can be fixed or operable.  Motorized operable systems of either the louvers or blinds can be a simple switch, computerized or even automated.
